Waterville, Maine – Caitlynn Grace Harriman, a beloved 25-year-old from Waterville, Maine, passed away in a tragic car accident on November 17, 2024.
Caitlynn, who was driving home from a work-related event, lost control of her vehicle on Kennedy Memorial Drive due to weather conditions and slippery roads.
The crash led to a temporary closure of the road as emergency responders worked to assist at the scene.
Despite their efforts, Caitlynn succumbed to her injuries, leaving her family, friends, and community devastated.
Caitlynn was born on June 13, 1999, in Portland, Maine, and was the youngest of three children.
She was known for her bright personality, kindness, and academic excellence during her time at Waterville High School.
After graduating in 2017, Caitlynn pursued a degree in communications at the University of Maine and interned at a local news station, where she was admired for her passion and dedication to journalism.
Her family, including parents Michelle and William Harriman, as well as her siblings Daniel and Rachel, have been at the center of an outpouring of support from the community.
A memorial service for Caitlynn was held on November 22, 2024, to honor her life and legacy.
Her family described her as the heart of their home, and her friends, colleagues, and mentors remembered her as a compassionate and inspiring young woman with a bright future ahead of her.
