England – Cristina Mihaela, a woman whose life was tragically cut short, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, November 20, 2024, at the age of 67.
Mihaela was visiting her family in England to spend the Christmas holidays when she suddenly fell ill.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, November 20, she began to feel unwell and lost consciousness.
An ambulance was immediately called, but despite efforts to save her, she suffered a heart attack during the emergency intervention.
She was rushed to the hospital and intubated, but tragically passed away later that afternoon at approximately 4:00 pm.
Her family, including her daughter-in-law Mihaela Cristina Gherasim, is in a state of shock as they now face the heartbreaking task of repatriating her body to Romania.
Mihaela’s sudden death has left her loved ones devastated, as they cope with the loss of a cherished family member.
The Gherasim family has started a fundraising campaign to cover the costs of repatriation, with donations already pouring in from friends and well-wishers.
In a post on the fundraising page, Mihaela’s daughter-in-law shared, “We need help to bring her back to Romania. We are in shock and don’t know where to start.”
