His family, struggling to cover the cost of a funeral service, has turned to the community for support through a fundraiser organized by his cousin, Necole Brown.
In a heartfelt message on the GoFundMe page, Brown expressed the family’s shock, stating, “We are all devastated by the death of Leon Christopher Shaw Jr., and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service.”
The fundraiser aims to raise $6,500 to cover the funeral expenses and provide a dignified memorial service for Shaw Jr.
The family has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support, with donations already pouring in from friends and well-wishers.
