Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – Samuel Dauby, a University of Virginia student from Pittsburgh, tragically passed away on November 22, 2024, following a fatal accident in Murrysville, Pennsylvania.
He was confirmed dead after a social media post expressed condolences: “Hi all. Please pray for the repose of the soul of Sam Dauby and for the consolation of his fiancé, their families and their friends.”
Samuel Dauby was a 2019 graduate of Franklin Regional Senior High School, where he developed a passion for the sciences. After high school, he pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience at Washington & Jefferson College, graduating in 2022.
During his college years, Dauby gained valuable experience as a Research Intern at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and worked as a Teaching Assistant and Resident Assistant at Washington & Jefferson College.
In January 2023, he began tutoring aspiring medical students for the MCAT exam. Dauby’s dedication to academics and his desire to help others left a lasting impact on those who knew him.
