Evans, West Virginia – Timothy Jackson Stanley, also known as TJ Stanley, a well-known tattoo artist and owner of The 1863 Tattoo Studio in Ripley, WV, has tragically passed away at the age of 35.
Stanley, who was born on October 19, 1989, in Fairfax, VA, passed away on November 21, 2024. The cause of his death has not been officially disclosed.
A graduate of Ripley High School, Timothy was a passionate entrepreneur and a respected member of the local community, running his tattoo studio for several years. He was also involved with the Ripley Renewal Coalition, an initiative aimed at improving his community.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Rachael Jael Allen, his parents, Timothy Eugene and Beverly June (Pauley) Stanley, and his sister, KaLee Stanley of Pittsburgh, PA. He is also mourned by his maternal grandmother, Connie Canterbury Pauley of Gallipolis, OH.
Family, friends, and the local community are grieving his loss. "Rest easy TJ," wrote Kym Roush in a heartfelt tribute. Jennifer Travaille commented, "Lots of love and prayers to all family friends and extended family. RIP TJ, fly high bud."
Funeral arrangements are pending, and the family has requested privacy during this difficult time.
