Melbourne, Australia – Trevor James Day, a respected Australian electrician and founding member of Crappy Electrical, tragically passed away on November 15, 2024, following a fatal workplace accident.
The 41-year-old, known for his dedication to his craft and strong commitment to safety, was performing routine maintenance on an industrial site in Melbourne when an unforeseen equipment failure led to a fatal electrical discharge.
Emergency services responded promptly, but Trevor succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Trevor’s sudden death has deeply impacted both his family and the electrical community, where he was admired for his professionalism and kindness.

He leaves behind his wife Emily and two children, Sophie and Liam, who described him as their protector and source of joy.
A memorial service was held on November 22, 2024, at the Ballarat Community Centre to honor his life and legacy.
